#755 NOVOCLAD

NOVOLAC CHEMICAL RESISTANT COATING

A two (2) component 100% solids Novolac epoxy coating designed and formulated specifically for projects that require protection from harsh chemical attack that may cause standard coatings to fail. The #755 NOVOCLAD is an ideal product for primary and secondary chemical containment, battery charging and storage areas, solvent storage, process areas, pump pads, and trenches.

#755 NOVOCLAD can be installed as a self-priming coating, or when properly mixed with various aggregates such as silica sand or thixotropic thickening agents, is suitable for high-build flooring (mortars), and/or wall systems, ensuring total chemical protection.

Available in 1 & 5 gallon kits. Available in all standard Thermal-Chem colors.

LIMITATIONS

  • Do not install in temperatures below 40°F 
  • Only available in normal cure 
  • Do not thin this product 
  • Lighter colors may require 2 (two coats) 

APPLICATION INFO

Pre-drill both components for 2-3 minutes to ensure ingredients and pigment (if selected) are evenly dispersed throughout the mix. Combine both components and mix for an additional 3 minutes.

Apply #755 NovoClad with a squeegee, brush, or high-quality non-shed roller. Only mix the amount of product that can be properly applied in 20-30 minutes.

SURFACE PREPARATION – Apply #755 NovoClad only to a clean and sound substrate. Mechanical preparation by means of shot-blasting or diamond grinding to an ICRI CSP 3/4 is recommended (see ICRI Guideline No. 03732 for additional details)
