#729 ARMORGEL
EPOXY PATCHING KIT MADE WITH THICKENING AGENTS
ArmorGel is an ultra high viscosity, two- component 100% solids, solvent-free epoxy polymer gel for pre-filling irregular surfaces, filling porous substrates, correcting surface defects and filling cracks or joints. ArmorGel has excellent adhesion and can be applied directly to most substrates without priming. The ultra high build ArmorGel coating produces an extremely tough and durable base/fill prior to the installation of any of the Thermal-Chem flooring systems.
ArmorGel is not intended as a topcoat or finish coat and requires the application of an appropriate flooring topcoat. ArmorGel epoxy filler can be installed or applied by trowel to vertical and overhead surfaces. ArmorGel is an ideal pre-fill material that provides a non- permeable surface, which is USDA approved and meets or exceeds U.S. VOC guidelines.
USES / APPLICATIONS
Typical uses for the ArmorGel epoxy includes: • Filling porous substrates
- Correct surface defects
- Block filler for CMU & brick surfaces
- Smoothing irregular surfaces
- Filling bug holes in cast-concrete
- An embedment coat for reinforcing mesh
- Or anywhere that a smooth, even surface is required prior to the application of a polymer coating
ArmorGel can also be used as c ant cove base material (when mixed with fine silica aggregate), and to correct imperfection in a troweled cove, or as a filler around machine pads and bases.

- Requires minimum application temperature of 55°F (10°C)

77° F Normal – Cure 5 to 6 hrs
60° F Normal – Cure 9 to 10 hrs
The above table assumes ambient, material and substrate temperatures are equal and the material is applied at a minimum of 1/8”
ArmorGel can be used with any of the Thermal-Chem repair and complimentary products.
Premix both A and B components separately for approximately one minute. Remove an amount of A component and place in a mixing vessel, then add (2:1mix ratio by volume) and mix for two minutes. Apply with a margin or regular trowel.
